The fourth Bitnorth has come and gone. No theme this year, just sixty people who showed up to tell one another about something they find fascinating. Plus tastings, drinking, and plenty of activities.
By now, we’ve had over 100 different people attend the event. I’ll post some statistics on how this year compared to past years once I get a chance to crunch the data (we’ve published data on 2009 and 2010, which you may find interesting if you run conferences.
If you want your Bitnorth fix, here are some links:
- Sarah Severson captured many of the sessions, and put them on Youtube.
- Eva Blue did her usual amazing job of lurking in the corners and capturing the moments, which are now on Flickr.
- Christine Davis has been studiously maintaining a Twitter List of attendees, so we can see what we’re saying.
- There’s also the first every SIFFy award (Spontaneous Independent Film Festival) which Gina Rosenthal and Ed Saipetch coordinated, blending amateur video with a scavenger hunt. Here’s a video of the final entries.
We’re already working on 2012, which is booked with CAMMAC. Stay tuned for the alumni and open registration early next year.
